I need to keep writing, but often feel words are jumbled up inside.
I still keep reading my subscriptions, and enjoying it a lot to see the ones' I've been subscribing to throughout the years are experiencing life to the fulliest, whether they think they are happy or not.
Now that I (seem to) cut all contacts from the outside world via digital means, more time is spent on introspecting. Whether you believe it or not, they say between the age of 27-30 is where Saturn's Return happens, which means there are big life lessons to be learnt during those years. And for all my Saturn's Return cycles (it happens once every 7 years apparently), the problem has been revolved around the men in my life, more specifically, I think it's a father issues that's underlying them all, well, this time it's no different.
Maybe as we get older, our ability to adapt deteriorates with time. We feel pain more strongly and its after-effects seem to last longer, yet happiness seems more and more fleeting. I can't help but wonder why.
I will think about the mode in which I'll be writing, I don't want to abandon Xanga, I like it here, unlike Twitter/Facebook or any other networking sites, Xanga allows me to actually sit down, reflect and record my thoughts, it's nice this way.

In time we will be jaded with life, I believe.
is real happy life based on freedom?
@GoldenSilk - Life is to be experienced isn't it? I'd like to think all the hardships we ensure only makes our life more colorful.
@JessicaMilk - I'm tempted to say yes, but then again how do we define Freedom? What if our free-to-do-whatever-we-like causes pain and suffering in others then what? ... we all want freedom yet it's so hard to define what it means to be truly free...
Let's blow Saturn up!
@cbr600 - bwahahaha... let me go n mix those TNTs ... LOL...
change seems fun when we're younger, but the more independent we become, i think the more we want stability and hold on to things.
i really like xanga, because as you mentioned you can follow some people for years, read their posts and learn about their long-term journeys. facebook is good long-term as well, but you don't really get stories on there, just peeks every now and again.
@consignedhearts111 - You'd think the older we get, the better we are at adapting to changes, afterall, aren't we all wiser with age? but now I have to think otherwise ...
@True_self_indisguise - right. I used to - probably like every other teenager that ever was - think I was invincible and nothing could stop me if I wanted something. I could handle anything, I wanted excitement and change and new things, new people, new places.. Now I just want stability, peace, and a few good people around. :]
